Process

The hardest thing about doing any type of design work is understanding someone else's vision. You can help the process by taking the following steps before we talk:

Web

  1. Write up a list of what you want a visitor to do at your site.
  2. Think up a few key words that you want people to think of when they first visit your homepage.
  3. Create an outline of the content you want on the site.
  4. Go to Adobe's kuler site & play around with the colors until you find several you like. Create an account & save it to your favorites or remember the name.
  5. Find several examples of sites that you like & send me a list of links. The site's content is unimportant just pay attention to layout and color relationships.

Graphics

  1. Create a list of the items you want designed & how they relate to one another.
  2. Write down what you want your design to accomplish.
  3. Think of several key words that describe the feeling you want people to have when they experience your design.
  4. Go to Adobe's kuler site & play around with the colors until you find several you like. Create an account & save it to your favorites or remember the name.
  5. Find several examples of work that you like & send me scans if you are able or bring them with you when we meet.

Pricing

No two projects are ever alike; therefore, quotes are customized to each client’s needs as well as to each client’s budget based on the estimated number of hours involved. The following list is provided to give you an idea of where I begin formulating estimates:

Basic website design & setup of CMS

* First 5 pages $300-1500
* Extra pages $40-100 (depending on complexity of template design)

Wordpress theme customization

* $100-750 (depending on # of templates & CSS changes)

Graphics & Identity Design

* $200-600 (depends upon complexity of project & # of revisions)

CMS training & Support

* $50 an hour

Photography

* Services start at $100 per hour

* Licensed photographs for web: $50-100 for 1 year

Terms of Service

  • Financial transactions are conducted through PayPal & a down payment of 50% is required before work begins.
  • All designs are hosted in the client section of sozosdesign.com until completion & are accessible during development.
  • After receiving the final payment completed projects are transferred to the clients hosting account or made available for download or delivery.
